Need to know a bit more about what particular situation you are looking at getting a licence for - it is a complex area.

right, i own one machine at present (fruit machine £25 JP) im looking at getting another couple.

i want to put them in pubs locally if i can get it sorted, which shouldnt be hard.

i have read through the forms but they are so god damn complicated i havent a clue what im suppost to fill in. I did email them but they basically directed me to the web page which still made no sense.

Post up the url of the webpage if you can, and I will interpret it for you hopefully!
To be honest you will have difficulty. One machine may be possible; more will be surprisingly expensive...

Right, basically they are saying that you need a full licence (£800 application and £2000 odd pounds per annum off the top of my head! )
BUT for one machine you could get away with this:

for only £25!
