Hi guys in my local arcade they have a elvis multi player which used to be a £500 one then they converted it to a £35 where you nad to get 3 disks to get on the bored and the gamble thing was a dice, now they have converted it to another game, they said it cus they are getting it ready to become a £500 agen, anyways you can gamble all the way from 50p to £35 rep, but my problem is, is that when you get the rep, it spins a reel and you have to hit rep ov, but if you get 3 rep plus the first jp total of £140 it says maximum win reached i say wtf how can they do this? there is no clear sighn on the machine that says the maximum win is £140 in actual fact there is no sighn to say it.

are the arcades allowed to do that? cus on most machines you have to warnings like changing stake will cancell hold etc.

if it is the max win why dont they just programm it to land on stop on the rep chance screen which wouldnt make me feel like i was robbed lol

They will not be converting it back to £500 any time soon - each machine in a multiplayer counts as a B3 within the gambling act, and arcades are limited to the total number that they can have.

they say that they are doing sections, they said that they can have 4 £500 machines in each section! they have started work on it already, they have had it passed from the council cus there are then councel notices all over the place in there lol.

they have 1 rainbow riches, one reel kings, one multi game £500 gambler and one mutli player normal. they say there getting one more rainbow riches one more muti gambler, converting the elivis, casino and mega slots. shit i say as i love playing the casino on £35 lol have had it rep like 8 times lol.

Heard about this happening in a few places - they say that if there is a barrier then it can be classed as another arcade!

My understanding of it is that the partition would have to be solid, and have a separate external entrance, to comply in this way.
If the Gambling Commission decide to clamp down there could be trouble - irrespective of what the council have said.

Yes a few places round here have done it, all the 'sections' have like 4 foot walls and a door in from the main arcades but also another door from the outside.

lol no but they should do, i was speaking to one of the staff and she said one of the owners said that each council has it own rules and regs on it, they have 4 £500 in each section. while we are on this subject my local garla has loads of £500 in one section how do they get away with it?

God knows - sure it isn't down to the Councils anyway in the case of AGCs, not sure about bingo halls though.

AGC's are answerable to the Gambling Commission. The only time the Councils should get involved is planning permission related matters.
