I think it's god damn awful!

You're average Joe public who normally have a couple of quid change from the bar will just stop showing interest which leaves them to be played by 'pro players' and addicts only.

I'd much sooner risk £1 a go down the local arcade for £500 or in the casino for £4,000!

The industry is suffering a slow death as it is, this change will certainly put the final nail in the coffin! (IMO!)

Indeed, blindly pushing up the S&P has never been the solution to the illness, and may very well be the last straw.

I can't see how pro players will be able to survive.

The only people who can possibly benefit from this are criminal toolers, who must be rubbing their hands in glee at the thought of those higher float levels...

that was my first thought, i for one will never play on them £1 a go for £70 not even worth it unless they have a good return to keep you playing for a while

Hi yes I agree I used to play the fruities quite a lot in my days,i still do from time to time, with all the new machines that are out there on the new stake its a shame to people like us who just like to play for fun....Whats the point in playing a £70 jackpot machine for £1 stake when you could be playing for £500 stake?????the leisure industry at the moment is on its knees, and completely gone barking mad in my opinion.i collect older fruities and I have the occasional newer fruities,i mainly go for clubbers like barcrest they made some good machines. But getting back to the point every arcade I go in now is dead apart from the seaside arcades, astra are the worst to alter there software in there machines, example SOLID GOLD when this machine first came out you had a good chance of a decent streak from it,now they changed the software and its one greedy machine....my favourate machine to play is bullion bars arena or the three player version, but the arena is a better payout machine than the three player one.The change has ruined the average jo player big mistake from the gaming industry....

And now pub jackpots are set to increase to £100, sometime next year. Is this the final nail in the coffin for "Amusement" With Prizes?
