right DO you know that you need THE layout as well as the roms?
you need to download the layout and extract them to the same folder as the roms>then try loading the game>
by the same way that you already said

yeah ok BUT you still need A LAYOUT FOR THE ROMS TO WORK

a blank res/ layout will be fine if you can find one. i put a spare one it one of my releases and i'm sure it is in LOOT N KHAMUN DX, IF you have that machine then open the folder , and copy/paste the blank layout into the folder where the roms are. or even make one yourself. i fyou want to try that just ask and i will show you how to make one.

Not sure these were runners to be honest - I had a look at them, I will have another check tonight and make sure they run ok for you if you want. But apart from that; as Bally said load them in a current/ blank layout. Always start with a classic so you can work out the lamping (which is best done in test mode), although if you know the machine really well it's possible to do it other ways. Once you have all the lamps and reels worked out (in reel editor) then you can worry about the DX part of it.
